Meeting Focus
The meeting focuses on the integration of the bottom-up nanoscale world of DNA-nanotechnology with the top-down microworld, such as microstructured surfaces or microelectrode arrays. This integration is prerequiste for possible technical application, but also assists in a more detailed investigation of the nanoscale hybrid constructs. Recent developments such as DNA origami or electrical field-assisted positioning are important points to discuss. A special session organized by the European COST network “G4-Net” www.g4net.org will deal with utilization of Guanosine-quadruplex structures for molecular-scale architecture.
